How to get migration certificate from Kerala Nurses and Midwives council ( KNC )



Nurses , are you looking for higher studies after completing your GNM or BSC from Kerala  ?

Then you need to produce a migration certificate at the institution or university where you want to study - that you will get from Kerala Nurses and Midwives council (KNC)

 Either you can get this certificate by hand or by post.


Documents needed for getting  Migration Certificate from Kerala Nurses and Midwives council


1. Copy of your KNC registration

2. Copy of S.S.L.C as an age proof

3. A requisition letter addressing The Registrar - KNC

4. A challan or DD of Rs. 300/- from SBT  ( State Bank Of Travancore) drawn in favour of , Registrar, Kerala nurses and Midwives council , payable at Thiruvanthapuram

If you are getting the migration certificate by hand you should take a challan from SBT branch that is working in the same( KNC) building, remember the bank will close by 12 noon :)

 To Get the certificate by post you should take a DD as said above ,instead of challan and send all the documents mentioned by post . KNC will send your certificate in 2 weeks to the address which you have mentioned in the requisition letter.

Note: You should mention the place where you are planning to study and of course the course.
 Eg: Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Delhi... and Post Bsc Nursing, Msc Nursing, PhD....etc
