How to renew Delhi Nursing Council Registration

Procedure for Registration renewal in Delhi Nursing Council

In India most of the nursing councils gives registration for a period of 5 years, after that the nurse has to renew her registration each time. To renew the registration they have to accomplish few things prescribed by the council.


  1. At least 150 hours of of attendance in CNE (continues nursing education) during a period of 5 years or 30 hours per year. True attested copies of certificates or Workshops or CNE should be submitted.
  2. Payment of Rs 500/- for RNRM and Rs. 200/- for ANM
  3. Proof of employment in Delhi for last 1 year.
  4. Attested copies of all documents ( 10th, 12th, Nursing Mark lists, Diploma or Degree Certificate, front and back side of registration certificate)
  5. 3 recent passport photos with white back ground with hair neatly tied at the back.
  6. Collect the receipt of payment on submission of application.


Renewal will only be done for the nurses who are employed in the state of Delhi and is valid for only 5  years.

    iam teena iam kerala ,worked in delhi till 2012 last,,now in uae,iwant to renew my delhi nursing regisation,,allso i need good standing certificat from,delhi nursing counicil how can i;;;

      Hi Teena, I hope you must have read the article, in your case just go for a GSC from Kerala. It is not easy to renew your DNC registration.

      hai me teena,,,i send a mail DNC for GSC,i got repley.check visit Delhi Nursing Council website for the procedure of overseas., icheck the web..i have one doubt which adress i can recive.the documents,,,dnc send another mail for me....It will be posted directly to the agency as it is a confidential document. and good standing will be given for the period you were here in Delhi. your renewal of certificate can not be done vide section 20 and 21 of DNC act 1997. (please visit website for DNC Act 1997)wt they mean...

    Hi Teena, it is good that you got it done, GSC will be send directly to the DHA office, you can request for a copy in your e mail that you can upload in your data flow site, mention that you need a copy for uploading. I just want to know which is your parent council? As per current rule, you can't hold more than one registration with you.

    thaku for ur,,reply.. one doubt, i dident study kerala allso didnt work kerla ,,but ,,i did kerala registration,one i got GSC from kerala..2013..as per rule which i need to follow,now,,,,,,,

      Hi Teena, as per rule you should get GSC from Delhi Nursing Council.

    very very,thanks ,,,..my workeing experieance till 2013 september,, 5 years.2014th once i try for dha,after i didnt work any were,now ican try for dha or had,,have any problem my last 2 year,,

      Hi Teena, As per rule you should produce last one year experience certificate to get an eligibility to sit for DHA or HAAD.
