How to get a Good standing Certificate from DHA
As I have mentioned in my previous posts, a certificate of good standing is needed for a job change in nursing profession. A Good Standing Certificate ( GSC ) is usually provided by the registration council in which you have registered and employed previously. Getting a GSC from DHA is very easy since all the process is done through online. I know that there is clear information on DHA regarding the application procedure. In any case if you are not able to access the site you can refer my post which is equally same as DHA.
Always remember that the good standing certificate is valid only for 6 months from the date of issue, so don't apply for it unless you are clear through other formalities. There is two types of application available for GSC- normal and urgent. I recommend for a normal one as it will be issued to you in less than 2 weeks time ( exclude the public holidays)

Procedure to apply for a Good Standing Certificate from DHA
Like any other application, go to your DHA account and follow these steps
In the comment you can mention the name of the authority to which you want to send the GSC.
Now the final step- payment
Once you complete the payment you can check the transaction details to confirm it.
Now, if you check your application status it will be mentioned as " waiting for facility director approval" . Once it is approved it takes another 5 days for issuing the certificate. To fasten the process you can inform the facility regarding the application of GSC and make sure they do it in time.
Some facilities are not willing to give the approval during your employment, in that case you can contact the DHA customer service and they will do the needful. You will receive the certificate in you mail once it is ready.
